Phantom Fox Pictures is a start-up film production company in Vancouver, BC. They create thoughtful and meditative films that tell stories of individuals and their journey through personal growth.

As Phantom Fox Pictures is a film company, the majority of the time the logo will be seen in a large scale. Because of this we were able to do quite an elaborate main logo. The concept for this logo is based off of an idea the owner had for a long time. The logo is meant to be a Phantom of the Opera-esque fox drawn in an illustrative fashion.
For a small scale application I created a secondary logo for the brand.
For the typography I used Homemade Apple. The sketch-like nature of this typeface mimics the illustrative style in which the logo is. Additionally I used Optima. This sans-serif, although appears simple, has subtle detailing of fluctuations in the strokes. These subtleties hint at the meditative nature of the films.
For the brand colours I went with a simple black and white to match the dark and meditative nature of the films.
For the business card, I went with a vertical format. On the front of the card, the main logo is on a black background, as it would be seen in the credits of a film. On the back I placed the secondary logo. As the business card is an ambassador for the brand, it's important to display both logos.
